Keekorok lodge was the first lodge to be built in Kenya's Masai Mara National Reserve. Located in the very heart of Kenya’s fabled Masai Mara National Reserve, Keekorok, meaning motley abundance in the local Masai language
, was constructed in 1962 on a choice eighty acre site in an area of permanent springs and lush grassland.

Keekorok Lodge Accommodation
The Keekorok Lodge offers standard guest rooms as well as 9 superior rooms and 4 suites. The accommodation is set out in bungalows, single storey blocks and shaded chalets, all of which have been constructed using indigenous materials such as cedar wood and pink and grey sandstone. All rooms at the Keekorok lodge have en suite bathrooms, and the chalets have private verandas. The bungalows have verandas shared by the other guests in the bungalow. Tastefully decorated with the finest linens and furniture, the bedrooms provide calming views of the plains and distant hills.

Keekorok Lodge offers a main restaurant serves international and local delicacies, three bars, café and TV lounge. Leisure facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, hot-air ballooning, game viewing, bird watching, culture safaris, Lake Victoria fishing expeditions and board games.
